Halki Visitor

Halki is a mountainous small island, just west of Rhodes. The sole community is Emborio, with its Venetian-style homes huddling to the smooth sandy beaches leading to the Mediterranean Sea. A taxiboat can take you for cave exploration in the Southcoast; cafes and tavernas beckon you, as do Greek pastry shops and bakeries. A minibus can take you around the island affordably and easily.
